Welcome to Kangaroo Island Olives

Kangaroo Island is a place of unspoiled nature, deep restoring breaths, and invigoration. Surrounded by water and accessible only by boat or plane, it remains a sanctuary for native wildlife and resilient ecosystems. This harmony with nature shapes everything we do, resulting in produce that's grown solely on sunshine and rainfall. Nature does all the work.

Olive Trees & Honey Bees

Ligurian bees were brought to Kangaroo Island in the 1880s, and by 1885, the island became a sanctuary, preserving the world’s purest strain. Their honey has become an icon of local cuisine. The Ligurian olive tree, introduced by Domenico Esposito in the 1990s, has roots tracing back to Italian Riviera monks. Valued for both extra virgin olive oil and table olives, its success led to more plantings in 2019, with more planned ahead.

Bring it all together

The island’s seclusion from the mainland is what truly shapes its artisan food. Protected from predators and free from genetically modified crops, Kangaroo Island produce boasts unmatched purity and flavor. This commitment to ethical food production reflects the community’s deep respect for nature. Simply put, this is food as it was meant to taste.
