About Kangaroo Island Olives

Kangaroo Island Olives' is a South Australian, family-owned agribusiness focused on regenerative agriculture. We deeply respect the environment and hold a fundamental belief in working with mother nature, not against her. We believe healthy soils grow healthy foods which make healthy humans.

Our farm, located beside a heritage-listed wilderness zone, reflects our deep commitment to preserving the natural beauty of Kangaroo Island. Through regenerative farming practices, we protect and enhance the environment rather than deplete it. Our olive trees sequester more carbon than it takes to produce, ensuring that our products are not only delicious but also genuinely sustainable for years to come.

Today, the family farm is known as 'Little Liguria’. Day to day farming activities are coordinated by Dom, whilst sons Michael and Vincent handles business operations. It is a mixed farming operation which includes olive groves, honey bees, seasonal grazing, and agri-tourism. Kalamata, Frantoio, Koroneiki, Leccino, Ligurian, and many more varieties of olives can be found on Little Liguria, with large areas of woodlands also dedicated to land care and wildlife conservation.

Our food

Made as nature intended

Our motto is simple: grow with Mother Nature, not against her. Our table olives are slow-cured for over 6 months, following traditional methods passed down through generations, and our extra virgin olive oil is crafted with the same respect for nature, going from tree, to press, to bottle in less than 8 hours. Everything we produce is grown and made as nature intended.

Our Farm

Heritage protected

Large portions of our grove are dedicated to wildlife conservation through heritage protection agreements. As a result, kangaroos, swans, cygnets, echidnas and birds are spotted often. They’re good co-workers!
