About Us
Kangaroo Island Olives' is a South Australian agribusiness focused on regenerative agriculture and sustainable farming. We deeply respect the environment and hold a fundamental belief in working with mother nature, not against her. We believe healthy soils grow healthy foods which make healthy humans.
Today, the family farm is known as 'Little Liguria’. It is a mixed farming operation which includes olive groves, honey bees, seasonal grazing, and agri-tourism. Kalamata, Frantoio, Koroneiki, Leccino, Ligurian, and many more varieties of olives can be found on Little Liguria, with large areas of woodlands also dedicated to land care and wildlife conservation. Olives are harvested once a year, delivering award-winning extra virgin olive oil and table olives directly to your plate.
Day to day farming activities are coordinated by Dom, whilst son Michael handles business operations. Thanks for taking the time to visit our website, and we hope you support regenerative farming by visiting our online shop here.
If you're visiting Kangaroo Island, please be aware we do not have a bricks and mortar visitor centre at this time. Alternatively, we encourage you to visit our friends Kym & Bridgette who run a farm shop that's only 10 minutes up the road. They're very familiar with our olive grove and offer a range of locally grown KI produce flavoursofpetiteprovence.
Customer Testimonials
After trying a number of Australian olive oils I find that Kangaroo Island Olive Oil is the best. Amazing deep and rich flavour. I like it best on artisanal multigrain bread with some good quality, ripe tomato and cheese – grilled! Keep up the good work!
Their oil is beautiful and the olives are great to nibble on!
Kangaroo Island Olives Smoked Olives are the best olives I've ever tasted. Their unique flavour is unlike any other I've had before. Highly recommend!
